Pathways to Prevention

Stopping violence isn’t just about one person—it’s about shifting the norms, power structures, and cultural patterns that enable abuse to continue across generations.

Our Prevention Programs

Live for Liv’s prevention efforts empower communities, professionals, and youth to identify abusive behavior and respond with compassion, creating a safer and more respectful culture.

Professional Training

We offer trauma-informed training to professionals who encounter survivors within their workplace—such as healthcare providers, educators, first responders, and salon professionals. These sessions help participants recognize signs of abuse and learn how to offer meaningful support.

Public Outreach

We collaborate with local organizations in Westford and beyond to raise awareness, foster supportive networks, and challenge societal norms that allow domestic violence to fester.

Youth Education

By working with schools and youth groups, we equip young people with the tools to foster healthy relationships, understand consent and boundaries, and identify warning signs—helping prevent teen dating violence before it starts.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of our mission. From helping at community events to supporting outreach and education initiatives, volunteers bring energy and dedication that drive real change in survivor’s lives.

Run for Liv / Ride for Liv

Each fall, Live for Liv hosts the Run for Liv / Ride for Liv event in Westford. It brings the community together to raise awareness and funds for survivors, with all proceeds directly supporting our education and aid programs.

Domestic Violence Prevention

Stopping violence isn’t just about one person—it’s about shifting the norms, power structures, and cultural patterns that enable abuse to continue across generations.

Real Change Starts With Us

At Live for Liv, we know that preventing domestic violence takes more than awareness—it takes action. Founded in honor of Olivia Marchand, our mission is to stop the cycle of abuse by educating communities, supporting survivors, and empowering people to build safe and loving relationships.

Education That Makes a Difference

Through community workshops, school presentations, local events, and our annual Live for Liv Run/Walk/Ride, we teach people how to recognize warning signs, understand healthy boundaries, talk about consent, and speak up against abuse.

We also partner with organizations and schools to provide meaningful, trauma-informed education.

Prevention Takes a Village

These programs don’t just raise awareness—they build safer futures. Whether you’re an educator, a parent, or part of a community group, you have the power to help prevent violence before it begins.
