Rebuilding Life After Abuse
During one of the hardest times in my life, I found myself facing challenges I never imagined. I was going through a domestic violence situation while pregnant, with no financial stability and no ability to work. I felt overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of how I would provide for myself and my baby.
After giving birth, things became even more difficult. I was recovering physically and emotionally while trying to care for my newborn, all while worrying about basic needs like housing and food. With no income, I was at risk of losing my home.
That’s when LIVE FOR LIV stepped in and supported me during a critical moment. They helped cover three months of my rent, which gave me the stability I desperately needed. Because of their support, I was able to stay in my home, focus on my recovery, and care for my baby without the constant fear of eviction.
Their help meant more than just financial relief; it gave me peace of mind and the chance to begin rebuilding my life. During a time when I felt alone and uncertain, they showed me that there was support and hope.
I am truly grateful for everything LIVE FOR LIV has done for me and my child. Their generosity made a lasting difference in our lives, and I will never forget it.

Holding on to Hope
Thank you so much. I truly appreciate you and everyone at the organization. I don’t know where I would be without your support throughout leaving violence and continuing to face legal matters. It has been incredibly difficult navigating systems that feel unfair and discouraging. I take these matters very seriously and it feels like a constant struggle.
I am living through this every day and continue to carry on because of the support I’ve received since 2021. Everything I do is for my child and me. I rarely get a break, but I keep going and refuse to give up.
I remain hopeful that in the future my situation will improve, and I will be able to work and live with stability. Right now, I am doing my best to get by. I hope one day I can give back and help others in a meaningful and ethical way.
The challenges with family-related issues and the court system are ongoing, and it continues to be overwhelming. I am trying to stay focused on peace, even while facing difficult circumstances. My child has been through so much, and my goal is for us to be safe and free from these situations.

I also wanted to confirm that I informed my landlord that rent would be covered as arranged, and I am waiting to hear from the exterminator as well.
